Carl has come up with a very well set up software program that is perfect for keeping track of both your pipes and tobacco cellar. It is great for it's ease of use and can be printed out as well. With all the information that you can keep track of with the pipe side, you could actually keep the information easily accessible as records for an insurance company. I could go on and on but won't. Let me just say that for the price, you can't go wrong with your purchase of PSU!

This is a great product. Very sleek and simple design. Extremely easy to use/navigate. As I have also taken to blending toby, this is a great way to categorize my own blends and have a hard copy of the recipes. I can't help but think that even retailers of pipes and tobacco could benefit from this product.

I pulled the trigger and got the software so I can track the tobacco's I've tried and see my brief review of different blends. It should help me make more educated orders in the future once I get everything into the software. The interface is nice and user friendly and it has enough prompts and reminders that most users should have no trouble operating it. So far, I'll say this software is a real winner, and something the pipe smoking community can benefit from. Hopefully this will help me track my cellar, in a sleek and attractive skin to boot. I'll give updates on the software as I keep using it, but so far I would recommend it if you have a cellar of tobacco or a large pipe collection.

For sometime I've been conscious of the need to have a catalogue of my pipes that acts as a legacy and helps my family to identify indvidual pipes in my collection by picture, description and possible value. I could have done this only with great labour in setting up a spreadsheet and then the result would have been nothing like as comprehensive as this very professional software.

Obviously the PSU software does far more than simply list an inventory of a pipe collection, offering wish lists, cellar details, smoking logs etc.; I haven't yet gone into those applications but, on my primary requirement alone, the modest price is well justified.

A versatile program that besides keeping pipe, tobacco and, if it applies, cigar inventory allows one to easily adapt it to other uses. The separation of tobacco blends and tobacco cellar allows one to build up a data base of tasting notes while having easy access to exactly what is in ones cellar. I like to use the smoking log to record pipe/tobacco combinations that work especially well. This is easily done with a couple of clicks. For cigar smokers it's nice to have the ability to keep track of your cigars along with their box dates and a separate area to compile a database of cigars smoked along with your impressions. I am still exploring the program but like what I see so far. Highly recommended.
