I would like to see a way to use the software as a smoking diary - pipe and tobacco combinations with a date, rating and a place for comments.

Also a way to calculate how long your cellar will last based on bowls per day - this could alleviate or exacerbate TAD but it would be fun either way................"yes I know it LOOKS like a lot but cant you see this will only last 35 years? - I still need another 10 years worth if I plan on making it to 90". The logic will be irrefutable - yep this is a must!

I think a journal is one of the things in the works for a future release. Carl, can correct me if I'm wrong.

So are future updates automatic? Will there be an announcement and a cost as well?

Updates are automatic - you'll get a prompt to download and install, or you can Click on the hammer and wrench icon (upper left corner) and click "check for updates". Major functionality improvements i suspect might have a small additional charge, but Carl hasn't explicitly said anything about that as far as I know.

Sweet! I just got this today and havent had time to explore it functions and whatnot, but Im loving the examples that you guys are putting out there!!
