Good day all...
Spent an hour at Just For Him in Springfield yesterday. Waymond ended up taking eight of my pipes! Hooray! This will give me enough for Pat's new washer and a few bucks left over...<sigh>
HEY!!! JFH wants me to come up to the shop the end of April or first of May for an all day "One Man Pipe Show/Carver's Demonstration"!! Just need to set a date and get a few more pipes finished. My block order is due in today...still need to order my stem material.
Going to start this day with Player's Navy Cut, probably in the two pony meerschaum:

Thought I could get some shop time in today...side-tracked! Pat decided that the garden spot was dry enough to till today. Well...it's *almost* dry enough! After filling the tines and clogging the back-splash with humongous clumps of mud, I'm off the hook for a while. Rain is forecast for the weekend....might be another week or so.
Now she's decided that "WE" need to start clearing the winter's detritus from the yards....guess who "we" is?!? We're like a couple of old dogs...she's the "Pointer", I'm the "Retriever"!
Rebelling right now...a sandwich, Dr. Pepper and a pipe...Penzance in the Sevket ball:
It's big enough that I have to sit and smoke it....sorry hon! Muaaa-ha-ha-haaaaaa!
