    Another Meer Benefit

    You don't often see this benefit of meers mentioned. Maybe because I look at the world different, the thought might not be common.

    If you have a habit of smoking fast, by the 3rd or 4th puff the whole bowl is ho enough to raise blisters on your hand. But if you slow down, it cools quicker than briar. In other words you yet near instant feedback on your negative habits, and a chance to change them quickly. It really helped me to regulate my puffing.

    Never thought about it that way....I'm a perfect smoker....riiiiiight! LOL
    You *are* right though. The stone will heat/cool faster, and it does act as an early warning device....cool!

    I really like this tip...and being a cig smoker I have the bad habit of smoking was to fast myself..."mental note: don't smoke pipe like it's a cig".

    I'm gonna give this a whirl see if I can't improve on my method !
