Lets Talk About The Weather

Wow! What a dud of a snow storm. A week of doom and gloom and a large swath of area is gonna end up with nothing.

Years ago the weather people were doing this kinda stuff that they took so much heat they felt the need to vent at the angry viewers...however for a few years they refused to give potential snow fall totals until a day before the storm. But here we are again...predicting heavy snows, causing schools and what not to close...only for the event to be nowhere near what they predicted.

It was raining a little this morning, then it cleared up and the wind started blowing pretty good for the remainder of the day.

We got hit with 10 1/2 inches of snow between 5:00 last night and about 7:00 this morning. A real mess this morning, but it had already started to melt by mid-day. I understand it was the most snow we've got out of one storm in March in 50 years. Of course, we're supposed to be in the 50's by Sunday. Typical for this part of Indiana.

SNOW DAY!!! Well that is what I would've said if the doom and gloom forecasts were right. A lot of wind...but if rain...hovering I the mid 30s.

Very windy and rainy! All this talk about snow, 2-4" 6-10" and I never saw a flurry! Well talking about a warm up for the weekend.
