Goin ol skool
Got 2 engraved slim zippo lighters for myself & the Lass.
I couldnt believe how hard it was to find fluid & flints. I even had a disagreement with a twinky at DollarStore. Butane & lighter fluid are not the same thing.
Using a zippo with a pipe is a lil different.

Get the insert for the zippo lighter, than you can light your pipe easily. Look it up on Amazon or just google it, I think they call it the Thunderbird. Zippos own website should have some info on it.

Your Welcome, and anytime. Check out the Zippo site first.

If you got the slim Zippo, the pipe insert and Thunderbird (an aftermarket butane insert designed to fit the original Zippo) won't fit in the case. Nothing wrong with a standard Zippo for lighting pipes, though.

Re: Goin ol skool
Was never big on the zippo pipe lighters, tried on for a bit and it does do the job well.
