Thanks everybody, we are doing good. Against my wishes mother went out and bought us a new 47" HD TV and a Blue-Ray player. I also found a few more pipes the assholes didn't get, my Cavicchi, Dunhill Cherrywood, Random, and Peterson XL 302. Those are pipes I had been trying to sell and had them in a case stored in a drawer. This is the second time my collection has been stolen, the same thing happened to me about seven years ago. That time they found my electronics up in Memphis TN at a pawn shop. When we went to court one of the thieves wife handed me a box that contained almost all of the pipes that were stolen right before court was to begin. My lawyer used that as evidence against the thieves and they were found guilty and sentenced to some prison time. The gal that gave my pipes back to me was very nice and apologetic. I have a feeling we know who was behind it this time and the police are investigating it.

That would make sense. Not very many people know the value of a really good pipe such as a Cavicchi or Dunhill. The thief would have to know your pipes were worth a considerable amount of money in order to have bothered to steal them. I hope everything is recovered soon.

Nothing yet Dave, and I'm not holding my breath. We are ok, still pissed and feeling violated as can be expected. I survived this once before and will do so again. They didn't take any personal belongings except my pipes so that is a good thing. These people down here stick together, nobody will rat anybody out so I don't have much hope in getting anything back. Thank you for asking Dave!

I hope you and your wife are ok. Is the area you live in that bad? Or do you think you were targeted? Must have been since they took your pipes and not many people would do that unless they know you have them, they know the value of them, and were close enough to hit you when you went out for dinner with the family. That means they were near by and some how knew when to scoop. My guess anyways. Who is this " Mr. Shake N Bake " that was referred to. Trying my skills as a Sherlock Holmes fan,wannabe. But in all seriousness I hope you and your wife are ok. And get a yappy, nasty dog with some flood lights and a good security system. I live in an area that is mild in the crime scene and alot of people have those little spy cameras hooked up. Let me know you are ok.
