Thread: Pocket Pipes

    Pocket Pipes

Thinking about pipe issues excites me. I long ago realized that there is no one perfect pipe. Meers are fragile, cobs dont look good, and big pipes are great when you have time and small pipes are great when you don't.

Which brings me to the new problem I am trying to solve. I need a pocket pipe. I have a Peterson 302 system that is great when I need a pipe I can take apart to clean, or store in my pocket, however it is HUGE. Bulges out the pocket.

I like the idea of a military mount because I can take the stem off and put the pipe in my pocket without the worry of snapping the stem. Not that I have ever snapped a stem, but I have read enough reports to be worried.

    Any ideas from the group?

    Thanks

    Sean

How about a Peterson system 303? Same shape as the 302, only smaller.

Savinelli has the Roley Natural Smooth Pocket Pipe. I had one similar but it just wasn't for me, I didn't care for the oblong shaped bowl. Below is a link for one.

I've been thinking about trying one, just not sure why I haven't.

I've seen those, but I've not heard good things about how they smoke.

The Grabow Omega is a small pipe with a Mil-mount stem. They smoke great and are small enough to pocket when disassembled.

Thanks T. I might try and find one of those. They are cheap to.
