Boswell's get together?

Hmmmm, there may be a crimp in the plans for Boswell's.

After months of band-aids to the car...I finally had to bite the bullet and get a new one yesterday

!!!! As much as I love having a new car I was hoping to make it through the winter with the old one...but it just couldn't hold up to the 80 miles a day anymore

!!!

So, the new one is going to put a sizable dent in the wallet for a while.

I'm now actually looking to sell the other Boswell's I have...plus with some other issues going on, I haven't smoke much at all lately.

However, stay tuned...because even if/when I do sell my other Boswells...I still will try and get up there in Oct for a day of R&R and most likely at least pick up one pipe.

Paul, congrats on the new car, but I know what it's like to have to jump before you want to. I hope you can still make it, even if you only get some tobacco. The company will be good!

The pushed my first payment as far out as they can, so I think it isn't due until the middle of November

!!!

I most likely am going to be selling 3 of the 4 Boswell's I have now (so Mark, if you see this, the poker is gonna be up for grabs soon) ... I kinda picked up a few on a whim, so I want to head up there and really find the one that calls out to me...

But again, as of now, I'm still plannin' on heading up (now that I have a car that should get me there...lmao

).

I hope you can. I am hoping I don't make the trip alone this time, it isn't a short drive. However, the company is worth it. Getting the payment pushed out is great. Any value in your old car or did you already trade it?

They gave me $2000 for trade in value which was spot on what I was expecting...since I knew they would find some of the obvious issues and I just plugged the dx computer into the car to delete the code so the check engine light wasn't on.

Unfortunately the put it on their used lot rather quick so who ever drives it...in about 100 miles or so...it'll be their check eng light to deal with.
