Don't know if this poll has come up before, but here go's

T.v, movie, politics or sport, who is your pipe smoking hero. For me the ultimate PSH was Jeremy Brett of T.V's Sherlock Holmes fame. The guy looked so darn cool

I guess mine would be actor Glenn Ford. He was one of my favorite actors and a Navy man. President Gerald Ford is also a favorite.

Was the original question intended to ask if they smoked in real life or not? I have read a lot about Costner and that pipe and haven't seen anything that says he does in real life, but he certainly did it with grace and style in the series. Looked very natural!

Whatever the case, Costner has long been a favorite actor of mine, but he sealed the deal with this role.

Costner also smoked a pipe in JFK, well he had one in his kisser for a few scenes anyways!!
