    What Are You Reading?

A week or so back I started The Pillars Of The Earth. This book is huge and will take me awhile to get through it. The book is so much better than the series!!

If any of you have a Kindle, there are two cool facebook pages to get free books, and some of them are really good, so if any one is interested:

    https://www.facebook.com/PixelofInk

    https://www.facebook.com/EreaderNewsToday

I'm currently reading The Emerald Talisman (well, at least until the wife sits down so I can start a movie).

I'm kinda in limbo right now. The book I was looking forward to reading, Cyndi said is crap. Really disappointing coming from my favorite author.

Sorry honey, but Terry Goodkind really blew it with The Omen Machine. You should still read it because otherwise you'll be lost with the next book.

I'm currently reading Spirit Bound by Christine Feehan. It's started out great and hopefully it stays that way!

I read that one last year Bob and really enjoyed it. I can well imagine the film version couldn't really measure up to the task of the story.

You're welcome Brian - I don't know about Pixel, but I think the ereader lists almost 4 or 5 free books every day...and I've find at least 3 or 4 a week that look tempting enough for my likes.

And heck, being free, if they're no good, well no harm done !

    I've bookmarked both websites Paul.
A new source of reading material will either keep me out of trouble or get me into more (-:

One of my favourite reads there Bob! The sequel (At Worlds End) is also a very good read; albeit not quite to the level of Pillars. If you can find him south of the 49th, look for Jack Whyte; very similar writing style to Ken Follett, and another author of amazing historical fiction. His first series (The Dream of Eagles) and it's companions are by far his best works, covering the Arthurian legend from a historically "accurate" standpoint, beginning with the collapse of the Roman Empire.

Last night, I started in on the first book in the "A Song of Ice and Fire" by George R.R. Martin; "A Game of Thrones", and am pleasantly surprised so far.
