    French E-Bay finds....work to do!

I got this lot for $23 shipped. The Longchamp is dirty as all get out but the others don't look too bad. The MM was a throw in by the seller and it looks OLD!

Not great photos but some pretty neat pickups I hope! The Longchamp was the main goal but the Ropp isn't bad too!

    Group photo!

    The Ropp Cherrywood

    The Longchamp leatherwrapped

A bent Dr. Plumb - made in France

Missouri Meerschaum which looks old to me...

If anyone has any info on how old the MM might be, lemme know!
    Thanks,

    Mike

Nice score! I'd have to say the MM is at least 20 years old by the looks of it.

Ok..bumping this thread as I've finally got 'round to these buggers. Between moving and starting a new job I've literally forgotten these pipes...

At any rate, upon inspection the Ropp and Dr. Plumb appear ready to smoke so I'm burning one of my grandad's blends as a first bowl in the Ropp. It's rather flimsy and cheap feeling but it does smoke amazingly well! Could it replace one of my Pete's? Never..but I must say I'm pleasantly surprised...the one in the group that will be a project looks like the Longchamp, more to come on that one for sure!

Good to see you "re-discovered" your French haul Mike.
Would you be trying out the old MM Corndog as well or will that remain a display piece?
Snus, Snuff and Briar, what more can a soul require?
